Safe-T-Roof is a small family-run Australian business, founded by Tina and Ken Hill in 2006. Specialising in fall protection, Safe-T-Roof provide temporary roof and multi-storey edge protection, void protection and light duty platform walkways for the building and construction industry in Canberra.


Safe-T-Roof initially contacted us to help them redevelop their website so they could build a stronger online presence and attract more qualified leads. But in our discussions, we uncovered another vital area of their business that required a serious digital upgrade.


For years, the Safe-T-Roof team had used hard-copy forms for all of their liability paperwork — and in their high-risk line of work, that meant a lot of paper documents to chase up, track and manage. Liability reporting had also become extremely time-consuming as they had to take photos of every paper form before sending via email.


Trying to manage all of this paperwork by hand became an ongoing challenge and frustration for the business. Tina and Ken realised they needed a more efficient and secure system for their liability forms.


The Solution.


It was time for Safe-T-Roof to make the transition online.


We integrated Paperform into their new website and created digital versions of all of their hard-copy forms. The easy-to-use online form system allows workers to sign in and access a secure page where all forms are stored, completed and uploaded. The forms have also been developed as smart forms, using conditional logic to trigger responses and help move the user through each stage. This helps Tina and Ken ensure all required data and information is collected from every worker.


The new online form system also provides workers with the ability to upload images of their work site or completed jobs, which can be easily referred to in WorkCover incidents or liability cases to prove the equipment and fall protection systems were set up correctly.


With the roll out of their new website and online form system, Safe-T-Roof were able to back their high-quality service with a professional online presence and more efficient client experience.
